Ski Lessons WC 17th Jan
Stuart, now that I am back, I thought I would give some feedback on my wife after her
lessons.
To be honest it was a revelation after just the first lesson. Clare was more confident, faster, turning better and in more control.
She would even tackle icy shady red runs that I'd not tested out, and easier blacks non stop...even after lunch.
So thanks very much as this means we can ski together more often, rather than groups based on ability.
Hopefully we will get away again this year.

People love Masterclass
They tried to make me go to rehab, I said snow, snow, snow.

Amazed at quick progress
Hi Stuart, hope you are well and have had a top up on snow since we left.
I just wanted to say thank you very much for the time we spent with you last week.
Hannah and I were amazed at the quick progress that we made with you. Learning your simply techniques was easy and memorable. You have really transformed my
ski-ing in a very short space of time. If we can convince our 10 strong group I would love to come back to Alpe D'Huez again and we will book to ski with you again without hesitation.
This morning I awoke feeling inspired. I am not good at poetry but this came to me:
This naff poem is about Leah
On Monday she was not a good skier
She could ski a good snow plough
But with parallel she just didn't know how
Instructors elsewhere had said "rise and fall"
While her other friends loved skiing and were having a ball
On the slopes she was shrouded in fear
Many falls had badly bruised her rear
She got so scared she suffered paralysis
Often quite simply by over analysis
She looked for an English teacher
Not just some flashy foreign preacher
In Alpe D'Huez she found Masterclass
She wondered if they could keep her off her ass
Parallel ski was the aim for the week
Other skiers make it look so simple and sleek
Inside leg forward, lighter and out
Outside leg takes the weight, turns and stubs the cigarette out
They had been on the slopes only an hour
Amazing, already she had gained the power
Easy to remember simple phrases
And informative stories about mountain grazes
The week passed so quick
Leah's skiing was looking quite slick
With parallel achieved
Absolutely no reason to feel aggrieved
Masterclass you are simply first class.
Thank you once again. Best wishes for the future
